What we collect

If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you type, plus the time of sending. We use that only to reply. We do not sell lists, we do not run advertising profiles, and we do not process payments — there are no commercial transactions on this site.

Cookies

The journal pages themselves do not require an account. Your browser may store a small cookie if a technical layer of the host needs it. We do not use that to track you across other websites.

Opinions

Everything published here is personal opinion from our own trips. It is not advice from a railway, a hotel, or a tour operator. We are not affiliated with any railway company.

How long we keep form mail

We keep contact notes long enough to answer them, then delete them in ordinary housekeeping. If you want a message removed sooner, write to the same address.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you from the contact form, and ask us to erase it. Swiss and European visitors can also contact their local data authority if they believe we have mishandled a request. We would rather just fix it — email us first.
